About Me

John-Roome-Visual-Artist: I am an artist/educator who believes you are never too old to learn new things. I successfully completed my Doctorate in Design from the Cape Peninsular University of Technology in 2014. 2016 is going to be my last year of full time lecturing as I will be "retiring" from that post However I will continue to supervise Masters students and make more of my own art work. Well, the above has all happened and now in 2017 I am enjoying the extra time I have for making art.
